The Township is dedicating this page to the application submitted by the applicant for Smithfield Gateway, Phase 1A-2 (Wawa). This page will serve as the primary source of public documents utilized in the land development proceedings. Documents will be made available in a timely fashion upon submission by applicant, or upon delivery to the Township by professionals or outside agencies.

Smithfield Gateway, Phase 1A-2 proposes to build a new Wawa on Parcel 16.8.2.1, at the corner of Seven Bridges Rd (SR 209) and Music Center Drive. The plans proposes a new building, parking lot, and fueling area. This plan was originally approved the Board of Supervisors on April 26, 2023, who removed approval of the restaurant pad at the developer's request (grayed-out portion of the LDP) and reaffirmed approval of the plan on December 13, 2023. Wawa is scheduled to open by the end of 2024.
