The Township is dedicating this page to the development of an amendment to its recently adopted Demand-Based Parking Ordinance. The proposed amendment would allow applicants to use either the Township’s off-street parking requirements in Schedule II or the latest edition of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Parking Generation Manual. It would also clarify that an approved parking reduction may not reduce the number of accessible parking spaces below the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This page will serve as the primary source of public documents utilized in the ordinance discussions.

The Board of Supervisors adopted the Demand-Based Parking Ordinance at its regular meeting on July 8, 2026. The Township is now considering a limited amendment addressing the available methods for calculating required parking and preserving minimum federal accessibility requirements when parking reductions are approved.
