The Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The EAC also holds meetings as needed on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Environmental Advisory Council is to advise the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission on matters related to the protection, conservation, management, promotion, acquisition, and use of natural resources. These natural resources include air, land, water, and open space located within or affecting Smithfield Township.
