    Concrete Batch Plant Hearing

    9/10/2008: HYK CONDITIONAL USE HEARINGS SUSPENDED!! Argument before Judge Vican of the Monroe Court of Common Pleas regarding party status of the EAC and the disqualification of the Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors from acting in a  judicial role took place August 21, 9:45 am. As a result of those proceeedings, conditional use hearings are suspended pending outcome of litigation. Check back for  additional documents to be posted shortly.

        

     NOTICE:  HYK Construction filed a lawsuit in Common Pleas Court seeking  to revoke the party status of the Smithfield Township Environmental Advisory Council,  and to disqualify Smithfield Township Board of Supervisors from hearing this case.
